This is an event dress. It is stunning. The fabric is heavy and structured. The brocade pattern is intricate, unique, and gorgeous.

The waist in this dress is a little longer and the overall length is a smidge longer than usual Matildas. Nell et al. said to size up and they were on the mark. I’m an XL in Matilda and took a XXL in this. The shoulders were a little loose, but for the fit everywhere else it’s worth an quick tailoring job. I also happen to have tiny shoulders.

If you want to steal the show at an event get this. Weddings, galas, my bedroom mirror. I could stare at myself in this all day.
